Sarah Stranz, MS
Biology & AP Biology Teacher
Appointed in 2011
“While I find all subjects worthy and beautiful in different ways, I was particularly drawn to science through my own experiences in high school. I enjoy biology, in particular, because it is challenging, ever-evolving, and applies to our lives every day. There is both awe-inspiring wonder and practical purpose in science. Learning and teaching science allows one to ask thoughtful questions, test ideas, solve problems, build confidence and communication skills, and make sense of the world. I aim to make my students’ experience interactive, engaging, and challenging, yet fun! My hope is that students leave my classroom with more questions, enthusiasm, and appreciation for the living things around them.”
