Physical Education Instructor
This role is responsible for educating students in physical fitness and health and wellness literacy. This educator will support and integrate the values of St. Teresa’s Academy and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet into the daily work and curriculum, igniting a passion for social studies, rigor, and excellence.
Social Studies Instructor
The Academy is seeking a full-time Social Studies instructor to work with the Principal for Academic Affairs and Social Studies Department colleagues. This educator will support and integrate the values of St. Teresa’s Academy and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet into the daily work and curriculum, igniting a passion for social studies, rigor, and excellence.
Physics/Chemistry Instructor
The Academy is seeking a full-time physics/chemistry instructor to collaborate with the Principal for Academic Affairs and Science Department colleagues. The duties of the physics/chemistry teacher include creating lesson plans, preparing classroom activities, organizing teaching materials, evaluating student performance, maintaining classroom records, meeting with parents, teachers and other professionals, and participating in campus events. May include instruction of honors, college dual-credit courses and/or advanced placement courses pending certification.
Mathematics Instructor
The mathematics teacher will create lesson plans, prepare classroom activities, organize teaching materials, evaluate student performance, maintain classroom records, meet with parents, teachers and other professionals, and participate in campus events. This position will collaborate with the Principal for Academic Affairs and Mathematics Department colleagues.
Librarian
The Academy is seeking a full-time librarian to work in the Fahey Learning Center in collaboration with the Principal of Academic Affairs and Principal of Student Affairs. The librarian will create resources to help guide student research and support the research process, work collaboratively with other departments to manage the library program in the acquisition and circulation of multimodal resources, and plan and implementing meaningful experiences promoting a love of reading and lifelong learning.
Director of Admissions
The Director of Admissions is responsible for all aspects of student admission including student recruiting and enrollment, marketing, strategic planning, budgeting, financial aid, relationship-building with other educational institutions, and collaboration with Academy administrators and faculty. This position reports directly to the president and is a full-time position.
Security Officers – Part-time
STA is seeking two part-time Security Officers for 11-month (Aug – June) positions. Security personnel oversee security operations of the STA campus and actively engage in supporting students for them to be successful in the classroom and school community.
Assistant Coach – Tennis
The Assistant Coach works with every student-athlete to ensure the health of mind and body, an atmosphere of camaraderie, practice of discipline and personal excellence. This position reports to the Director of Athletics.
