2023/2024 Scholastic Art Awards
Whether interested is in dance, yoga, Pilates, ballet, modern, or jazz fundamentals, students will learn choreographic principals and fundamentals technical skills, from beginner to intermediate levels. Student performances, including original compositions, are an important and fun aspect of dance.
Get involved in STA theatre! The Academy features three theatre productions every year – a musical and a play directed by STA’s theatre teacher, and a student production written and directed by STA seniors. All aspects of the productions are student-led and -organized, from stage management to lighting and design, and from costumes to makeup. Learn More
At STA, you have many opportunities to participate in music throughout the school year, including Concert Choir, A Cappella Choir, STA Singers, or in our piano classes. Studies show that students who participate in music have higher standardized test scores in math, foreign language, and creative writing. Learn More

Fine Arts Boosters (FAB) is an STA parent organization dedicated to the promotion and support of all areas of visual and performing arts at the Academy. This includes music, drama, dance, arts, textiles and graphic arts. We work through volunteer efforts and donations to support fine arts programs and projects throughout the year. Our parent volunteers assist with ticket sales, concessions, publicity, receptions and much more. FAB is committed to supporting our fine arts faculty and STA students in their endeavors.
