Visual and Performing Arts

Education in the arts will inspire and invigorate you! It is an integral part of a well-rounded education and contributes toward improvements across all academic areas. Check out the various programs offered at STA.

Whether interested is in dance, yoga, Pilates, ballet, modern, or jazz fundamentals, students will learn choreographic principals and fundamentals technical skills, from beginner to intermediate levels. Student performances, including original compositions, are an important and fun aspect of dance.

Get involved in STA theatre! The Academy features three theatre productions every year – a musical and a play directed by STA’s theatre teacher, and a student production written and directed by STA seniors. All aspects of the productions are student-led and -organized, from stage management to lighting and design, and from costumes to makeup. Learn More

At STA, you have many opportunities to participate in music throughout the school year, including Concert Choir, A Cappella Choir, STA Singers, or in our piano classes.
