Eileen Harrington (’21)

I fell in love with the study of history through my own experience at STA in my AP United States History class. My love for social studies in general developed soon after that, once I realized how connected the different disciplines are. The social sciences help us understand the things that make us human. They help us tell stories, contextualize the world around us, and make sense of the different ways that people interact. History particularly, is a subject that excels in using the past in order to make sense of the present. I am incredibly excited to return to the place that helped me realize my passion for the subject, and to share my passion with the students of St. Teresa’s.
