Jaqui (Jacobson, ’01) Haskins

Having graduated from STA in 2001, I can confidently say that young women excel academically, athletically, and socially in an all-girls educational setting. Without the presence of male students, young women are provided with ample opportunities in their learning journey, rather than having to compete for those opportunities with young men who historically dominate such spaces. Time and again, it has been demonstrated that all-girls’ environments cultivate sisterhood, global changemakers, empower young women to assume leadership roles, enhance self-confidence, and promote a culture of achievement.
