St. Teresa’s Academy is pleased to announce Dr. Siabhan May-Washington, STA President, has been selected to join the
Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City’s Board of Directors and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Executive Women’s Leadership Council.
Saint Luke’s is one of the largest faith-based tertiary care hospitals in the region with a network of more than 600 physicians representing more than 60 medical specialties. It has been consistently recognized by US News & World Report as one of the elite hospitals in the nation. The Executive Women’s Leadership Council comprises Kansas City-area female executives and was formed to promote women’s leadership and achievement.
These new endeavors complement Dr. May-Washington’s current leadership role as a board member for Ability KC, a rehabilitation institute serving children and adults with disabilities.
A key component of STA’s Strategic Plan is to form partnerships with our community. Dr. May-Washington’s board service with Ability KC, Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, and the Executive Women’s Leadership Council will deepen the Academy’s relationships in the area, as well as provide greater advocacy and promote meaningful connections for the school.
“I feel very blessed to serve in these additional capacities in our greater community to further extend the CSJ charism to love the dear neighbor without distinction.”
– Dr. Siabhan May-Washington
