STA Athletics Announces New Head Golf Coach

St. Teresa’s Academy is pleased to announce Wendy Jensen as head golf coach. Coach Jensen brings decades of experience as an educator, coach and leader to STA, along with a deep passion for developing student-athletes on and off the course. A former NCAA Division I Scholar-Athlete in golf, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Mathematics Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

In addition to her athletic background, Coach Jensen has an extensive history in secondary education, holding a Missouri Life Certificate in Secondary Mathematics Education and has taught at both the middle and high school levels. Her leadership experience includes serving in leadership and coaching roles for girls’ golf basketball and soccer.

Beyond school athletics, Coach Jensen has remained actively involved in the golf community, including serving as Vice President and Director of the Country Club Women’s Golf Association, further strengthening her connection to the sport.

“We are thrilled to welcome Coach Jensen to our staff,” said Athletic Director Kat Williams. “Her enthusiasm for the game of golf is evident. She brings a lifelong passion for the sport, along with a strong commitment to developing student-athletes through skill-building and mentorship.”

Coach Jensen looks forward to building strong relationships with her athletes, fostering a positive team culture, and continuing the tradition of excellence within the STA Athletics Department.
