Celebrating the Retirement of St. Teresa’s Head Tennis Coach Lana Krause

After an extraordinary career, St. Teresa’s Academy announces the retirement of our longtime head tennis coach, Lana Krause.

Coach Krause has been a cornerstone of STA Athletics for nearly two decades. She began her journey with STA Tennis as the assistant coach from 2007–2010, working closely alongside Meghan Parrot, who was the head tennis coach during that time. Those foundational years helped shape the competitive and spirited culture that would define the program’s success. In 2011, she stepped into the head coaching role, beginning a legacy that would uplift generations of athletes.

Under her leadership, the Stars flourished, achieving remarkable accomplishments and building a reputation for discipline, integrity and sisterhood, both on and off the court.

A Message from the Athletic Director

“Lana is such a dedicated coach. She is the epitome of what I look for in my coaches. She has so much experience – not only as a standout athlete at the University of Missouri, but also as a coach, mentor and educator through her professional work in the field of dentistry. I have a lot of respect for her, and I know we will truly miss her presence at STA.”
— Kat Williams, Athletic Director

As Coach Krause retires, we celebrate her competitive legacy and also her kind heart, passion, and grace she brought to the Academy. She will forever be a cherished part of STA’s athletic history.
