“I enjoyed the University of Kansas Summer Venture in Business program. We had a great academic element of learning about the business programs at the KU School of Business from professional selling, accounting, and talking with The Big Four (accounting firms). We had a team project that we worked on for an hour each day,  where we chose a prompt that was a problem and created a solution without worldly limits. After our work time, we played games and got to experience being a college student. To capture my experience: I went from not having KU anywhere on my radar to KU being a top school I am looking into for college.”

“Summer Seminar at the United States Naval Academy was one of the most exciting weeks of my summer. It was six days of what life would be like as a midshipman. The detailers put us through early morning workouts, briefs, indoc, and even a day in the mud known as ‘Sea Trials.’ The environment aimed to cultivate leadership, the value of education, pushing the limits of one’s physical and mental strengths, and a glimpse into an incredibly formative future. NASS was unparalleled in anything I’ve ever experienced. Everyone there is of a certain caliber, and I made so many amazing connections; I still keep in contact with many of the friends I made there. It was the deciding factor in my decision to pursue a future in the service, and I highly recommend anyone interested in the academies to look into this program.”
