Why did you choose to attend St. Teresa's Academy?
I chose to attend St. Teresa's Academy because I knew it was the perfect school for me. I knew when I shadowed that it was the school for me. STA was so welcoming and I just fell completely in love with the campus. Looking back now, I think coming to STA was one of the best decisions I've made.

What has been your favorite class at STA?
My favorite class I have taken at STA would have to be Dyeing, Sewing, and Stitching during my sophomore year. Since the class was a bit smaller, my other fellow classmates and I created new friendships and all supported each other. I loved the class because I love anything that involves art, but, in this class, we learned about the history of the different dyes, stitches, etc. I also loved how the course was like a little break from all my other academic classes, where I could go at my own speed on projects that I loved.

What is your favorite part of the STA community?
Being the only girl coming from my grade school, I was a bit nervous to come to a school where I didn't know anyone. I now realize that was the last thing to worry about. STA was so welcoming, from the teachers to the students. All of the girls were so nice and made me feel so welcomed.

What has been your most memorable experience at STA?
One of the most memorable experiences I've had at STA was 2019 Teresian. I never in a million years thought I would say that I loved going to a school dance, but I did. From asking my date two weeks before to taking pictures at Union Station, Teresian was amazing.

Looking back at your year(s) at STA, what would you tell yourself on the first day of school?
I would tell myself to not be so shy or timid. Throughout these last three years, I have found out STA is a perfect place to be yourself and to be able to do what you like. Looking back now, I regret not being as open and confident as I am right now.

What advice would you give to prospective students who are considering STA?
I would say STA is very welcoming and allows you to be who you want to be. Going to high school is already a huge change and can be nerve racking, but making sure you're comfortable and confident is very important. STA is the perfect place for that.

What is the one thing you have learned most about yourself? How has STA helped you discover that?
I have learned most about my inner confidence and self-love. STA has truly made me realize everyone is different and everyone has something special. I think my self-love and confidence has truly improved due to the amazing community and sisterhood at STA. Everyone is unique in their own way and we have to embrace it!
