The St. Teresa's Academy swim & dive team won it's third consecutive Independent League Championship, Feb. 11 at Central Academy of Excellence. The StarFish won the meet with 555 total points, 100 ahead of it's nearest competitor. STA finished the meet with victories in the 200 Yard Medley Relay, 200 Yard Freestyle, 500 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Backstroke.
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.

The St. Teresa's Academy swim & dive team will compete at the 2016 Independent League Swimming & Diving Championships, Feb. 10-11 at Central High School as the Starfish look to defend their title for the third straight year. Swimming prelims begin at 4:30 p.m., Feb. 11 while diving and swimming finals take place, Feb. 11 and begin at 4 p.m.
Feb. 10 (Prelims): Races begin at 4:30 p.m.
Feb. 11 (Diving / Finals): Diving begins at 4 p.m., Swimming begins 40 minutes after diving concludes

Three St. Teresa's Academy student-athletes participated in the early signing period for the class of 2016 collegiate-bound athletes. Meghan King, Andie Round and Ryan Wilkins each signed their National Letter of Intent, Nov. 11 as part of the 24th consecutive STA senior class to send student-athletes on to collegiate athletics.
Congratulations to our Scholastic Art Award Winners! Gold Scholastic Awards: Jewell Allen (Ceramics), Mary Grace Campbell (Ceramics), Iyanla Williams (Ceramics), Sarah Ferron (Drawing and Ilustration), Cat DeRousse (Mixed Media) and Annie Bolin (Digital Media). These award winners will go on to the National Adjudication.
The St. Teresa's Academy dance team will host tryouts for the 2016-17 season March 28 - April 3, 2016 in Goppert Gymnasium. Additionally, there will be an audition meeting March 8, from 6-7 p.m. in Goppert. Tryouts will consist of three audition clinics (March 28-30) and one audtion (April 1). Team selections will be made April 3. Tryouts are open to any student-athlete entering 9th - 12th grade and are closed to the public.
