National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.

ILC Swim & Dive Information

The St. Teresa's Academy swim & dive team will compete at the 2016 Independent League Swimming & Diving Championships, Feb. 10-11 at Central High School as the Starfish look to defend their title for the third straight year. Swimming prelims begin at 4:30 p.m., Feb. 11 while diving and swimming finals take place, Feb. 11 and begin at 4 p.m. 

Feb. 10 (Prelims): Races begin at 4:30 p.m.
Feb. 11 (Diving / Finals): Diving begins at 4 p.m., Swimming begins 40 minutes after diving concludes

2016 11th Annual Avila University High School Invitational Art Exhibit

The following STA students' pieces were selected for the the exhibition.  Annie Bolin, Graphic Design, "History of American Typewriter" and "On the Road"; Sarah Ferron, Graphite, "Planes and Thangs" and Pastel "Planar Analysis"; Ellie Grever, Acrylic Paint, "Electric Silhouettes" and Ink, "Homage to David Levine" and Pastel, "Portrait of Maya"; Madison Rubalcava, Colored Pencils, paper, "Metamorphic Girl" and Rita Vittori, Acrylic Paint, "Hypnotic Pulse".  We would like to congratulate these young women and invite you to view the exhibit February 17-23 at the Thornhill Gallery.

STA Seniors Sign NLIs

Nov. 11, 2016

Three St. Teresa's Academy student-athletes participated in the early signing period for the class of 2016 collegiate-bound athletes. Meghan King, Andie Round and Ryan Wilkins each signed their National Letter of Intent, Nov. 11 as part of the 24th consecutive STA senior class to send student-athletes on to collegiate athletics.

Scholastic Art Awards

Congratulations to our Scholastic Art Award Winners!  Gold Scholastic Awards:  Jewell Allen (Ceramics), Mary Grace Campbell (Ceramics), Iyanla Williams (Ceramics), Sarah Ferron (Drawing and Ilustration), Cat DeRousse (Mixed Media) and Annie Bolin (Digital Media).  These award winners will go on to the National Adjudication.

2016-17 Dance Team Tryout Information

The St. Teresa's Academy dance team will host tryouts for the 2016-17 season March 28 - April 3, 2016 in Goppert Gymnasium. Additionally, there will be an audition meeting March 8, from 6-7 p.m. in Goppert. Tryouts will consist of three audition clinics (March 28-30) and one audtion (April 1). Team selections will be made April 3. Tryouts are open to any student-athlete entering 9th - 12th grade and are closed to the public.
