Per HB-300 regulations, MSHSAA has released its annual Interscholastic Youth Sports Brain Injury Report regarding the impact of student athlete concussions and head injuries and the efforts that have been made to minimize damages from school sports injuries on the MSHSAA website. This report is located by going to www.mshsaa.org and then going to the SPORTS MEDICINE TAB.
St. Teresa’s Academy is excited to announce David Green as the new head track and field coach. Coach Green is in his second year coaching at STA on both the basketball and track and field coaching staffs. He most recently helped guide the Stars to school records in the 100m and 300m hurdles, and a MSHSAA All-State medalist in the 100m hurdles.
Fall sports tryouts for Cross Country, Golf, Softball, Tennis and Volleyball begin August 3 and will run through August 7. As mandated by MSHSAA, student-athletes are not eligible for tryouts until they have an annual physical and complete the MSHSAA Athletic Physical/Insurance Information/Parent consent Form and submit it to the STA Athletics Office.
