The St. Teresa's Academy golf team placed second at the MSHSAA Class 2, Sectional 4 meet, Oct. 10 at Lakewood Oaks Golf Club. The finish qualified the Stars for the MSHSAA Class 2, State Tournament as a team for the first time since 2011. Bri Arello (86) finished fifth, Corynn McDonald (90) finished 10th, Madeline Gentry (95) finished 19th and Grace Gaume (98) finished 23rd; each earned All-Sectional honors.
The St. Teresa's Academy golf team finished 3rd at the MSHSAA Class 2, District 7 meet, Oct. 2nd. Bri Arello, Grace Gaume, Madeline Gentry and Corynn McDonald were all named All-District and advanced to the Sectional round.
Tryouts for the 2018 fall athletic seasons begin Aug. 6, 2018. For those interested in trying out for a fall sport, please fill out this form as soon as possible. The required fall sport Parent/Student-Athlete Meeting will be held Monday, Aug. 6 at 5:30 p.m. in Goppert Gymnasium.
Congratulations to STA golfers, Maddie Gentry and Corynn McDonald for qualifying for the MSHSAA Class 2, State Tournament, Oct. 9-10 in Sedalia, MO. Gentry finished 8th, while McDonald tied for 15th. The St. Teresa's Academy golf team finished second at the MSHSAA Class 2, District 7 tournament, Sept. 25 at Adams Pointe Golf Course. As a team, the Stars shot 355 and advanced to the MSHSAA Class 2 Sectional tournament, Oct. 2 at Paradise Pointe Golf Course in Riverside, MO. Bri Arello, Madeline Gentry, Emma Anielak, Grace Gaume and Corynn McDonald each earned All-District honors.
The St. Teresa's Academy golf team finished first at the Indpendence Invitational, Aug. 25 at Drumm Farm Golf Course. The Stars finished with a final score of 410, defeated the second place team by 10 strokes. Ana Ryan finished second (96), individually, while Kate Coppinger (100) finished 4th.
