Welcome to St. Teresa’s Academy!
We are excited to have you on campus and look forward participation in STA Athletics! We offer a variety of sports and opportunities for girls to be part of a team on many different levels. This past year, the Stars have won a MSHSAA, Class 4 soccer State Championship, and finished fourth at the MSHSHAA volleyball and MSLA lacrosse State Championships, while sending 12 graduates from the class of 2017 to compete at the collegiate level.

The STA Athletic Department utilizes rSchoolToday for all its scheduling needs. The website allows the public to view the master schedule, as well as games, practices and rosters for specific sports. Fans are also able to sign up for notifications, download the Mobile App and upload calendars to their Outlook and iCal.
2017-18 Dance Tryouts
Auditions for the 2017-18 STA dance team will be April 18-21 in Goppert Gymnasium for girls entering grades 9-12. Team selections will be made April 23. All applicants must complete each of the following forms:

Summer Camps, Leagues, Workouts
STA offers individual and team summer camps for those interested in basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field, volleyball and sports performance for girls grades 3-12. Camps run from May 30 – July 21. Click here to register.

Everyone interested in STA athletics would benefit from signing up for the STA Sports Performance Summer Camp. This is a great way to meet girls from various sports and prepare for the upcoming seasons.
MSHSAA Athletic Medical Requirements
As mandated by MSHSAA, student-athletes are not eligible for tryouts and competition until they have an annual physical and complete the MSHSAA Physical Exam Form and submit electronically to the PRIVIT website and complete all other forms shown under the athlete’s account. To ensure proper completion, please refer to either the New Parent Instructions or Returning Parent Instructions. Student-athletes are not allowed to participate in tryouts or contests until all forms are complete and submitted correctly online.
NOTE: It is imperative to use the supplied and appropriate Parent Instructions for proper submission. No paper forms will be accepted by STA staff or coaches.

STA is proud to partner with Children’s Mercy Kansas City Center for Sports Medicine. They provide athletic training services for student-athletes across the Metro.
Fall Sports Tryouts
Fall sports tryouts run July 31 – Aug. 5 for cross country, golf, softball, tennis and volleyball. Student-athletes who wish to try out for a fall sport are expected to attend every designated tryout session and practice. If she is unable to attend a session, contact must be made with the head coach as soon as possible. Dates and times below are subject to change. Please keep an eye on the STA website and calendar for any updates.
