Why did you choose to attend St. Teresa's Academy?
I loved the campus, the community, and the challenging academics.
What has been your favorite class at STA?
I loved advanced bio freshman year with Mrs. Blake and weaving sophomore year with Mrs. Dibble! I loved the content of both courses, they were both super fun! Mrs. Dibble and Mrs. Blake are both super fun teachers as well.
What is your favorite part of the STA community?
I love the strong support system and that everyone is friends. I know I can always find someone to help me with homework or just talk if I need to.
What has been your most memorable experience at STA?
My most memorable experience was the FBLA (Future Business Of America) conference trip to Denver my sophomore year! We rode the bus to Denver where we attended several days of the conference, which were all very cool to listen to. We also got to explore Denver and went into the mountains one day; overall it was such an amazing experience and I really bonded with everyone who went!
Looking back at your year(s) at STA, what would you tell yourself on the first day of school?
I would tell myself to enjoy every second. It goes by super quick and you'll want to stay here forever and remember every moment you have with everyone on this campus. I would also say just relax. It takes a few days to learn where everything is on your schedule, but it is definitely not as intimidating as it seems, and you'll learn to love it right when you get here.
What advice would you give to prospective students who are considering STA?
Come shadow! It is a super fun day and you get to experience a day in the life of what you could be doing next year.
What is the one thing you have learned most about yourself? How has STA helped you discover that?
I have learned so much about myself and matured a lot throughout my years at STA. Mostly, I have learned confidence. Because of the STA sisterhood, I have recognized how important everyone is in building a giant family, which has helped me realize my self-worth. I love seeing how everyone around me has also matured, and I love reminiscing with my friends about how much we have grown since freshman year.
