Why did you choose to attend St. Teresa's Academy?
I chose to attend St. Teresa's Academy because of the community. All the students want others to succeed and are always welcoming. It is very easy to make friends from all different grades, and it is very easy to tell that they are lifelong bonds.

What has been your favorite class at STA?
My favorite class that I have taken at STA has been Newspaper. During this class, I feel free to express all my ideas without being judged. Ms. Cowing has made the environment very upbeat, and has helped to push everyone to reach their best. I have been able to find my passion through this class, and I work with a great team.

What is your favorite part of the STA community?
My favorite part of the STA community is the environment. STA has a really open and accepting community that makes everyone feel like they have a home away from home.

What has been your most memorable experience at STA?
My most memorable experience at STA was the Notre Dame de Sion volleyball game that took place during my sophomore year. A lot of students came from both schools and there was a very strong rivalry in the air. Everyone was cheering so loud and the stands were so full that there wasn't enough room. In the end, STA ended up winning the game.

Looking back at your year(s) at STA, what would you tell yourself on the first day of school?
I have successfully completed two years as an STA student. Looking back at my years, I would tell myself to be more outgoing and not be afraid to go out of my comfort zone. I would also tell myself to take more risks and speak up more in class, because all the teachers are always accepting of everyone's ideas.

What advice would you give to prospective students who are considering STA?
I would tell students that when they come to shadow to not be nervous or anxious because everyone will welcome them with open arms. I would tell them that STA is unique compared to other schools and it is very difficult to find another place like this. I would also tell them that when I decided to go to STA, it was the best choice I ever made and I wouldn't change it.

What is the one thing you have learned most about yourself? How has STA helped you discover that?
I have two years of STA under my belt, and I have learned that I am very extroverted. STA has helped me discover this because the teachers and student body have pushed me to truly be myself, and feel comfortable while at school. There are a lot of opportunities at STA that allow students to get involved, and this helps everyone meet new people.
