St. Teresa's students are challenged to maintain a standard of excellence in academics. For more than 150 years, St. Teresa's has offered a rigorous college preparatory curriculum in a disciplined environment. The average composite ACT score for the Class of 2016 was 26.4, 48% scored a 28 or higher, 22% scored a 30 or higher. The national average is 21.
Each year, St. Teresa's graduates receive merit-based scholarships to many prestigious colleges and universities. More than 80% of the Class of 2016 received merit-based scholarships. It is common for junior and senior students to take Advanced Placement and/or college credit courses. At St. Teresa's Academy, working hard, challenging each other and striving to be the best is the rule, not the exception.
