Test-Optional Admissions

COVID19 has caused colleges and universities to reassess their admission criteria and process. More than half of all U.S. four-year institutions have moved to TEST-OPTIONAL admissions! For some institutions, it may be a one to three-year pilot and some have made a permanent move to test-optional. Pay close attention to ALL application instructions as there may be some majors that are not test-optional. Also, there some schools that are test-optional for admission only and not merit scholarships or honors programs. The list of test-optional schools continues to increase and there are many other changes on how to report that you plan to apply test-optional, as well as possible extensions on score deadlines (if required).  For more info on test-optional and test-blind admissions, go to www.fairtest.org
