St. Teresa’s Academy encourages leadership with a college-prep curriculum that emphasizes strong STEAM (science, technology, English, the arts, and math) skills integrated in to real world situations. Success within the classroom is centered on the four C’s: critical thinking, collaboration, creativity/innovation and communication. Within our complex world, students must move beyond academic knowledge and into areas of social development and creative thinking.
Teaching methods engage students in active learning by incorporating project based, hands-on learning to emulate real-life complexities. Flipped classrooms offer greater teacher interaction within the classroom while students are introduced to new material through teacher produced videos and online presentations. Passionate teachers motivate students not just to succeed but also to excel. Graduates leave our doors college-level ready and move on to four-year colleges and universities throughout the country and world.
