STA Math Club Excels in Local Competition
The STA Math Team recently competed in the Kansas City Teachers of Mathematics Competition and won many awards (listed below). The competition included over 250 students from 19 local Missouri & Kansas high schools. Schools were divided into Large School and Small School categories with STA competing in the Small School Category. Out of the 80 individual awards (large and small school), 51 were won by males and 29 by females. Out of the 29 awards won by females, 18 went to STA students. Congratulations to all of STA's strong academic students!
