Academics
Moodle, which stands for Module Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment, provides a safe, monitored environment for our students to both communicate and interact with faculty, staff, administration, moderators, coaches, and fellow students.
The course system lays at the heart of Moodle. Each course can contain activities, resources and ways to communicate that would help guide participants through various learning paths. There are currently over 19 different types of activities and resources. Some of the activities and resources available include assignments, online quizzes, forums, glossaries and course related documents. There are also a host of other tools, such as messaging, I-chat, blogs, and forums that help to build a strong community of learners.
Moodle is accessible from any Internet capable device and requires a user name and password to access most course related content. All students were issued this information upon enrolling at St. Teresa's Academy. Parents do not have access to Moodle; however, they may utilize their daughter's information for viewing purposes only.
Please refer to the links below for detailed instructions on how to both access Moodle and learn the basics of using Moodle.
