Junior/Senior Community Service Program

Service to our community is at the heart of every STA sister. Students attending St. Teresa’s Academy are required to complete a comprehensive service experience for graduation. The service component of an STA education is clearly rooted in the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph to love our neighbor without distinction in word and deed.
 
The Junior/Senior Service Program begins junior year when a student interviews and selects a single agency within the greater Kansas City metropolitan area to complete no less than 90 hours of service. See the program timeline, philosophy and criteria for additional information.
