Stars Play for District Basketball Title

 

The St. Teresa's Academy varsity basketball team played Lee's Summit West for the District 13 Basketball Championship at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 24 at Hickman MIlls Junior High School. The Stars entered the contest enjoying a four-game winning streak, including an exciting 62-59 last-second overtime victory over Lee's Summit High School in the district semifinals.

DISTRICT SEMIFINAL RESULTS:
STARS DEFEAT LEE'S SUMMIT WITH OVERTIME BUZZER BEATER
St. Teresa's Academy sophomore Peepers Gray drained a half-court shot with time running out in overtime to win the district semifinal game against Lee's Summit High School 62-59.
