Buford to sign with William Jewell

St. Teresa's Academy golfer Alexis Buford will be the fourth Star to sign her national letter of intent to compete collegiately next fall. Buford has verbally committed to William Jewell College and will make the agreement official Friday, November 18.

Buford was a four-year letterman and four-time State qualifier for the Stars. She finished her senior season with a sixth place finish at the District meet (89), third place finish at Sectionals (84) and 25th place finish at State (89).

"We're all very proud of Alex," Head Coach Teresa Borchert said. "For four years she's been a staple on our team and I have no doubt she'll do well at William Jewell. Congratulations to her for all of her hard work."
